SHELTER S1E8 FOUND ๐Ÿ˜Šย

SHELTER decided to end its first season with several bombshells. Getting some plot answers was great, but it still prompted a bunch more of unanswered questions.

SHELTER is a mystery thriller, a coming-of-age story based on Harlan Cobenโ€™s popular novel. Three teens are the force behindย solving a small townโ€™s unsolved disappearances. It blows me away how these characters can progress more on a cold case than the Sheriff or law enforcement. It reeks of improbabilities. And no one seems to care how late these mere teenagers stay out or where they are throughout the night. Bad parenting creates major gaps for me.ย

Mickey (Jayden Michael) does not float my boat. I need more facial expressions and body intensity. I agree, though he does have a cool, loner vibe.ย

SHELTER discovered more ways to cope with grief. โ€œLife does go on whether you like it or not.โ€ This is a given, but in the end, it is all about how well the series โ€œtunnelsโ€ out of its hole. I might just have to read the book instead. It is available to stream on Prime Video.
