DEAR CHILD is a limited series mystery thriller. Intense, exciting, and thoroughly entertaining is how I would describe this story about kidnapping and psychological terror.
DEAR CHILD stars German actors and dubbed in English. This usually annoys me, but the plot totally absorbed my brain, and I didn’t care who was saying the lines as long as it was believable. It was riveting from start to finish because viewers were kept in the dark about who the perpetrator might be until it was almost finished. The whole premise is creepy and pretty spooky because it involves children. These little ones portrayed fright and fear very well. Now, I hate “rules,” and I feel like I have to “show my hands” whenever someone walks into the room. This is very alarming.
DEAR CHILD was definitely spine-chilling. It made me put away all my snow globes and just continually repeat the phrase, “I am a good girl.”
