AGATHA CHRISTIE’S SEVEN DIALS SERIES REVIEW ๐Ÿ˜Š

AGATHA CHRISTIEโ€™S SEVEN DIALS is totally based on the original murder mystery, the best-selling novel. The twenties in England never looked so good. The limited series, with only three episodes, wrapped audiences in a breathtaking period from long ago, featuring a very affluent society. The cinematography was gorgeous and realistic. It was like taking a step back in time, to when women had just bobbed their hair and raised their skirts while discovering their instinctive power. Nicely done.ย

The ensemble offered strong performances from Helena Bonhamย  Carter, Mia McKenna-Bruce, and Martin Freeman. The costumes were delightful, helping viewers to witness the changes in what one chose to wear within a decade of turmoil and pushing boundaries. The conversations were fast and realistic, and, most importantly, delivered a sound payoff at the conclusion. It was just like โ€œreadingโ€ a book out loud.ย

AGATHA CHRISTIEโ€™S SEVEN DIALS was light and breezy, even though murder was visible all around. It was a great way to catch up on an old favorite book. It would be wise not to expect any more or less from this series.

It is streaming on Netflix.
