REACHER S2 REVIEW 🤩

REACHER concluded its second season with action, fights, torture, and heart. He (Alan Richson) is a master at making his point with or without his shirt and with endless sarcastic bullseye punches that perfectly deliver.

REACHER, Lee Child’s creative novel series, is the leader of the 110th Army Special Investigation Team. They were disbanded years ago but are now “together” to stop a diabolical, terrorist threat. The fighting never stops, and his team is continually in harm’s way. It is understated and cleverly written for fans to continually sit back and enjoy REACHER being REACHER. This is all done while we suspend our disbelief and just go with the flow. It definitely felt like helicopter revenge ruled the moment since “assumptions kill.” I simply adore this man. I was shouting at my screen with sheer delight.

What makes this season so much fun to watch is also the entire ensemble. They stayed true to their characters as well, and visually, I loved the realism that bruises do not heal overnight. Kudos to the entire production team, and the well-thought-out payoff at the end. I wish Season 3 was ready to roll. I will miss my man REACHER. Maybe I will send him an extra toothbrush for the road.

REACHER is streaming on Prime Video. Be sure to check him out and become a part of his “family.”
