ESTA’S TOP TV OF 2023 🤩

I have finally created my top television shows for 2023. Alas…SUCCESSION fans will not be pleased since it is not on the list. I confess I am just not into this series, though I do think everyone else will be thrilled with my choices. They are not in any particular order with the exception of my first pick. It is truly hands down, number one.

THE BEAR S2 – A top-tier acting, (Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri) writing, comedy/drama that is brilliant, innovative, and a “must-see.”

BEEF – A creative and fresh look at “road rage.” Superb leading actors Ali Wong and Steven Yeun.

THE LAST OF US – this apocalyptic series kept me on the edge of my seat. Who knew a video game could become such a hit TV series? I can’t wait for its return.

BARRY S4 – a phenomenal way to conclude its journey. Kudos to Bill Hader and Henry Winkler.

ABBOTT ELEMENTARY S2 – Quinta Brunson’s brainchild. Funny…poignant…truthful about the mysterious world of teachers.

THE DIPLOMAT – a political, spy thriller with a married life edge.

DAISY JONES & THE SIX – a musical romp through a band’s petty destiny. Great music and solos by Riley Keough.

THE CROWN S6 – the magnificent talent of Elizabeth Debicki as Diana. Tragic and stunning.

SHRINKING – Harrison Ford

TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS – the epic tale led by the most talented Kathryn Hahn.

LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY – I fell in love with Brie Larson and 6:30. “Chemistry is life.”

THE GILDED AGE S2 – Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, and spectacular, period costumes.
