BARRY S4 REVIEW 🤩

Aaron, Esta, and Jami take on season four.

Aaron, Jami, and Esta enjoyed the last season of BARRY. Here’s our take!

E1-E2 🤩

“Here we are in the final season of BARRY, and even though the titular character is an awful human being, I’m still rooting for him thanks to Bill Hader’s legendary performance.

Aaron

E3 YOU’RE CHARMING 🤩

BARRY works because while Hader’s main character is the focus, the show is filled with interesting and eccentric personalities that are often the strongest parts of the show.

Jami

E4 IT TAKES A PSYCHO 🤩

BARRY is truly going off the deep end. Of course, my colleagues have been saying that for weeks. But this time, it’s really true. Intense and unbelievable. It takes an amazing imagination to write this final season. Bill Hader has achieved it all.

Esta

E5 TRICKY LEGACIES 😊

“TRICKY LEGACIES is the closest BARRY has come to the style of BETTER CALL SAUL. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fully land, but with Bill Hader’s “pragmatic” approach, I’m “optimistic” that the finale won’t “compromise” and become one of the best TV series of 2023.

Aaron

E6 THE WIZARD 🤩

“This week’s BARRY was a masterclass in creating a sense of dread and having it permeate every single scene from beginning to end. This episode also belonged to one of our most underrated character actors of all time, Stephen Root.”

Jami

E7 A NICE MEAL 🤩

“BARRY kept me on the edge of my seat in this week’s episode. It was exciting and entertaining, but I fear not even Pastor Pat can solve the dilemma of what to do next.

Esta

E8 WOW 🤩

“I wanted to yell, “Oh, wow,” as the series concluded, but instead, I merely went, “Oh, Okay. ” And there are some drop-dead unforgettable moments in the series finale that barely make it a 🤩.
