PHYSICAL relived and renegotiated the past in Sheila (Rose Byre) and Danny’s (Rory Scovel) relationship. This was crucial as they took two steps backward.
There were so many emotional peaks and lows while watching the verbal choreography to all the usual rousing arguments. These carefully orchestrated dialogues allowed audio access to Sheila’s silent conversations inside her head. It is totally messy in there, and the compelling aspect is wondering if she will ever be “sane” and whole. I guess we all “know her as well as anyone.”
PHYSICAL ended quietly, but it was as intense and powerful as if they were still yelling at each other. Relationships are hard work. And the lead actors make it look natural and effortless. I sincerely hope Sheila and Danny can move on or get back together. They are continually jerking each other’s chain episode after episode. Watch out…it just might break.
