ONE LAST TIME: AN EVENING WITH TONY BENNETT AND LADY GAGA 🤩

Every now and then, we get to witness “greatness” on television. ONE LAST TIME: AN EVENING WITH TONY BENNETT AND LADY GAGA was one of those moments.

It was Tony Bennett’s 95th Birthday. What better way to celebrate this legendary singer than with a concert at Radio City Music Hall? The production was simple, intimate, and spectacular. What a joy to hear Mr. Bennett sing so many of his favorites alone and with Lady Gaga, who also opened the show with her set of songs. She shared stories of how she first met Tony and what their friendship means to her. It touched my heart with its authenticity and love.

What makes this performance even more special is that Tony Bennett has Alzheimer’s disease. The only time he truly “comes back” is singing. He didn’t miss a beat. His voice is strong, emotional, and even flirty. It is as if time just stood still enough to give us this gift one more time.

It was a magical and touching performance, especially when Lady Gaga asked Mr. Bennett if she could walk him off the stage after he sang his signature song, I LEFT MY HEART IN SAN FRANCISCO, for the last time. Such class…grace…and overwhelming love.

It is available to stream on CBS/PARAMOUNT Television.
