INMOST 🤩

INMOST is a dark story-driven game that is a mix of the classic games, METROID and BRAID, while adding spooky horror elements. In it, you play as a child, a man, and a knight. Each character has unique abilities, and they combine to tell a hauntingly original story of loss and regret. 

What drove me to complete INMOST was the story. We’ve seen a trend of pixelated sidescrollers as of late (SHOVEL KNIGHT / CELESTE), yet where those experiences combined story and gameplay, this one is primarily a winner for its story. 

In the five-hour experience, I was surprised at how much the darkness in the story affected me. It’s a personal and gut-wrenching tale. And just like, BEFORE YOUR EYES, I recommend bringing kleenex. 

INMOST is currently $14.99 to buy. At that cost, it’s well worth your time to find out why “many served the keeper out of fear.”
