I CARE A LOT is a stylish (not just because of Rosamund Pike’s hair) and thrilling dark comedy that’s built off all its predecessors (WOLF OF WALL STREET, HUSTLERS, even a bit of UNCUT GEMS) in all the best ways. With its tension building soundtrack (Marc Canham) providing a perfect ambiance for the impressive cast to move the plot along.
This film is not a feel-good watch – almost every character is shady, villainous, clueless, immoral, or a combination of the above. But for me, that made it all the more riveting. If you’re looking for a truly different kind of movie that’ll leave you debating with yourself who to root for, I CARE A LOT is the movie for you.
