While HOUSE OF THE DRAGON may not have as many interweaving storylines as its predecessor, it makes up for it with an impressive roster of complex characters. The latest episode of HotD dives into the psyches of Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney), Aemond (Ewan Mitchell), Daemon (Matt Smith), and my current favorite character, Rhaenys (Eve Best).
THE RED DRAGON AND THE GOLD packs in everything, from clandestine meetings to aerial warfare to military strategy – plus a splash of psychological thrills. This is possibly the best episode of the show we’ve had to date, and it feels like a turning point in the war at the focus of the series.
