YOUR FAULT: LONDON 🤮

YOUR  FAULT: LONDON is the third in the continuing love saga surrounding Noah (Asha  Banks) and Nick (Matthew Browne). It is based upon the book series written by Mercedes Ron. I would not label this film as a rom-com. It is rather a PG, wanna-be, lusty soap featuring tons of young adult angst, pouting, and scheming, surrounded by several heavy make -out sessions. It is supposed to be forbidden love, but in reality, it really didn’t go against any state laws. Ho-hum was my reaction to this youn couple’s perceived dilemma.

What’s fascinating to me is Rotten Tomatoes does not offer a critics’s review. Obviously there wasn’t enough interest or people who cared. On the other hand, the public rated the film in the 80’s. One die-hard fan even said it was a must-see movie. Take it from me, it is not. It’s like eating Melba toast on a hot summer’s day. It brought to my mind the song from A CHORUS LINE where the young dance hopeful was singing about NOTHING.

YOUR FAULT: LONDON did make the point that it is much harder to maintain a love relationship rather than actually falling-in-love. This sums up the entire film’s story content. Shoot, I hope that wasn’t a spoiler, but don’t worry, I bet there will be a number four to clear up any ambiguities. My advice to this young couple…shit or get off the pot, and quit giving gullible teens ideas that this is the way you treat the one you love. It is streaming on Amazon.
