DOG GONE 🤮

DOG GONE features the cutest Labrador. Smart, funny, playful, and mischievous. The film is based on a true story of an incredible love between a young college graduate, his family, and his dog.

I am a sucker for movies with animals. The story was interesting but lacked the depth and layers necessary to pull us in. This is the fault of the writers. The dialogues were just too simplistic. There were glimmers, but not enough to really give the ending its due and a big pay-off. I felt like I was just dumped at the conclusion. It was disappointing. I did like Rob Lowe as the dad, but he even needed more grit.

DOG GONE is a movie that could have, should have, but just didn’t give audiences enough. It’s a shame because the dog was DOG GONE adorable.

It is available to stream on Netflix.
