WE SHOULD EAT is a hilarious short movie from the Spokane Jewish Film Festival. It was a veritable treasure trove of belly laughs mixing a multi-generational family trying to order dinner amid a few heavy conversation bombshells being dropped at every turn. Â
The fast-paced dialogue was witty, modern, and intelligent. The ensemble worked well as the split-second story sped to its final ‘ba-boom boom.’ My favorite had to be the incomparable Tovah Feldshuh and Jackie Hoffman’s craving for Tai. What a delight.Â
WE SHOULD EAT was the perfect choice for the Festival’s final day. Audiences left the theater smiling and hankering for takeout. Â
