UNHOLY is a short film shown at the Spokane Jewish Film Festival.

UNHOLY is uncomfortable. It shines a light on all aspects of family gatherings during the holidays. It makes us see the cringe worthy moments surrounding a Jewish family desperately trying not to address the elephant in the room during the Passover Seder. All the young granddaughter wanted was to feel normal as she battles a gastric disease. Itโ€™s not always easy to get what you want. Sometimes you get something better.

UNHOLY provides a powerful fourteen minutes for audiences to absorb. It emphasized that love, acceptance, and kindness can be manifested, no matter how fleeting. The filmโ€™s subtle nuances hit our buttons until the final frame. It is always difficult holding a mirror up to ourselves, even when it is necessary for change and growth.ย
