Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) is in charge of a baffling investigation. She is being challenged by State Trooper (Kali Reis). The two are commanding, pitted against each other to find the truth and possibly connect some dots to murder and disappearing scientists. The characters are riveting. The freezing cold is palatable. I am hooked while I am guarding my tongue.
TRUE DETECTIVE has just started, and you know it will be a twisty, quirky ride to the end. I am ready and alert for the spirits who visit and help along the way. It is streaming on Max.
