TREVOR NOAH: WHERE WAS I was filmed while Trevor was touring. This stand-up comedy concert was performed in Detroit, Michigan. I am a huge fan, but this presentation was not one of his better routines.
Trevor is usually hilarious and outrageous. This time around, he was more tepid and just not as funny. Don’t get me wrong. Trevor was funny but did not appear to do his “normal” humorous routine. I love his impressions, dialects, and insightful take on today’s society. This particular show was mostly about white people. Yes, I was “flabbergasted,” but just not enough.
TREVOR NOAH: WHERE WAS I begs the question, where were you? I missed his high-octane energy.
