THE TOURIST S1 REVIEW 🤩

THE TOURIST presents a conundrum of a story that twists and turns with unexpected results. It will keep its audience guessing who “the man” (Jamie Dornan) really is.

The series is action-packed and intriguing. The Outback desolate cinematography adds to the allure and mystery. There are only six episodes to keep viewers on their toes. Each one ends with a mini cliffhanger that will encourage binging. I know I did and then I wanted more. Luckily, Season 2 will air on February 29th. I can’t wait to watch and try to obtain some closure on what went down in the man’s past. Kudos to the great, entertaining writing that includes the entire ensemble especially for Helen (Danielle Macdonald). She is a fascinating character who is coming into her own power with or without a “burrito” emoji.

THE TOURIST is a slow burn at times, but the dust-filled tale is worthy of your invested time. It is refreshing to be continually surprised while watching a dramatic, humorous series. Just don’t start whistling in the middle of a scene. I fear it will knock my boots right off my feet. It is streaming on Netflix.
