What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas… unless you’re on Matt’s (Rogen) team of dysfunctional producers. CINEMACON is one of the funniest “trips” audiences will take in the first season. It’s a two-parter that utilizes an “old-school Hollywood buffet” to set up the season finale next week. And that set up is one drug-filled wild ride with all of the characters from E1-E9 stopping by one big party hosted by Matt.
THE STUDIO continues to be a cringeworthy comedy. Each time Matt tries to do something, audiences know it will end poorly as he selfishly focuses on himself, rather than others’ best interests. That display of narcissism will make audiences think of the shroom sequence in THE NIGHT BEFORE mixed with a lot of Hunter S. Thompson silliness.
By the end of E9, THE STUDIO’s characters will come down from their high. Yet, the audience’s high on this series is just starting to crescendo as the episode ends on a well-placed cliffhanger.
THE STUDIO has already been renewed for season two, and is the must-watch comedy of 2025. What are you waiting for?
It’s available on Apple TV+.
