There’s nothing inherently wrong with this Disney + SIMPSONS crossover, but there’s also nothing that stands out. Well, except for Goofy and Homer becoming drinking buddies. Yup, that’s right. After three Disney / SIMPSONS crossovers, the third edition has Goofy replacing Barney. And for a fleeting couple of minutes before Lisa starts to sing, it’s hilarious.
There is also a slew of Easter eggs. Audiences will have to rewatch it to catch all the cameos ranging from Donald Duck, Tinker Bell, Jafar, Boba Fett, and so many more. Yet, the funniest is Pinocchio and the Beast, from BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
If you like THE SIMPSONS and are a fan of Disney, there are several worse ways to spend three minutes this weekend.
