We liked season three of THE MANDALORIAN on Disney+. The following is an episodic breakdown from the latest season.
“Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni use the season three premiere to establish our heroes on a new epic journey. And while the opening action sequence is a lot of fun, THE APOSTATE is mainly set up for what’s to come.“
– Aaron
“THE MINES OF MANDALORE progresses Din’s journey to get him back into his sect of the Mandalorian religion. And it does so at breakneck speed without sacrificing tension, character development, and good storytelling. But more than anything else, this episode changes everything for The Mandalorian culture, everything for what these characters believe, AND everything for the Star Wars universe as a whole.“
– Mike
“I can’t go full 🤮 because I appreciate a good star fight, and THE CONVERT delivers there. Plus, Din and Bo Katan have a great rapport, and coming off last week’s reveal, their situation has become more about what’s unsaid than said. I wish the show had stayed on Din, Bo, and Grogu’s adventure, but instead, it takes a left turn and lands on my favorite Star Wars galaxy planet. I was thrilled to see it again but soon was bored to tears.”
– Jami
“THE MANDALORIAN was fun this week. It shared moments of laughter, drama, and adventure. It created a new way to play darts and win. I gotta train with Grogu!!”
– Esta
“THE PIRATE is able to bridge the micro and macro elements of the galaxy while also capturing the whimsy of STAR WARS.”
– Tarush
“No season of THE MANDALORIAN has ever been perfect for me. I think Season 2 was near-perfect. But it’s always been the case that maybe 1-2 episodes out of an 8-9 episode run were more misses than hits. And so far, they’ve hit 2 for me this season.
My hope is that if they end strong and stick the landing, all will be forgiven as if they bathed in the Living Waters of Mandalore.”
– Mike
“Should you watch the latest episode of THE MANDALORIAN now? Yes. Do I think that Grogu is overrated? No. Am I anxiously chewing my nails, wondering where the finale will take us? Yes yes yes yes yes.“
– Tarush
“Whoo! Season 3 ends with a bang! Several of them, actually. I know THE MANDALORIAN has taken some pretty BS criticism for “aimless writing” and “inconsistency” this season. But I disagree so much with that sentiment.
Season 3 continued the strong, consistent quality of storytelling this series has been known for, whether audiences realize it or not. Gotta keep the faith, fans. This is the Way!“
