“Women don’t like to take credit. Men do. That’s why they get promoted.”

THE GOOD FIGHT has returned for its sixth and final season, and it feels like “deja vu.” (But in a fantastic way.) Diane (Christine Baranski) and Liz (Audra McDonald) are teaming up again with the added addition of a new character Richard (Andre Braugher).

At times, it was a little bombastic with all the birds, tear gas, and prayers. In the end, the writers kept the viewers in the palm of their writing hands, exactly where they wanted us. Court cases were lost and not postponed. There was a moment of sheer terror in the elevator. I thought it would be an extremely short season. The time flew by due to the creative, excellent ensemble performances. I have no idea what comes next.

THE GOOD FIGHT always includes the current political scene riling up its viewers. This is one of my favorite reasons why I love this series. It will be a bumpy ride, and I am all buckled up in anticipation.

THE GOOD FIGHT is available to stream on PARAMOUNT.
