THE GILDED AGE S3E2 WHAT THE PAPERS SAY ๐Ÿ˜Š

THE GILDED AGE was fraught with oodles of drama and trauma. Audiences are now privy to learn who wears the pants in the Russell household when it comes to matters of the home and family. Bertha (Carrie Coon), you play the mean bitch well. The back-and-forth emotional battles are entertaining to watch, yet unsettling.ย

This week, the topic of how โ€œgood manners will not make up for 2 1/2 centuries of slaveryโ€ was poignant and heartbreaking. The writing drew viewers together in a big pot of possible foreshadowing. At least, I hope so; yet, there are several issues still on the table for discussion. The cast certainly has their hands full with intriguing story content.ย  ย

THE GILDED AGE is a great deal of fun. It seems like society has not learned much when it comes to matters of the heart. We seem to keep repeating our same mistakes over and over again, aย hundred years later.ย

THE GILDED AGE is streaming on Max.
