THE BOYS explored the world of puppetry to deliver a harsh message to children everywhere. The words “If you see something, say something” are now etched deep within my brain. Big Brother is really watching everyone now.
Supe life is really fu**** up. Who knows who you can trust? Brains or wisdom won’t be of much help. The world must stay on Homelander’s good side, or ripping bodies apart will appear normal. The backstories, blood, gore, and battles are everywhere. No one is safe, and the cliffhanger amplifies that lesson.
The moment projecting the most humor involved a sexy octopus. I never thought I would be chuckling while simultaneously gasping for air. Kudos to the writers for injecting such a dark comedic scene.
THE BOYS have grown up and are dealing with heavy shit. These are times I don’t think the golden rule will actually help, but if it makes you feel better, here’s the number to call…1 800 1 Vought.
