THE AGENCY S1E1-E2 ๐Ÿ˜Šย

THE AGENCY is a fast-paced, slow-burn covert spy thriller. It feels convoluted yet extremely possible and probable. There are just too many situations in our explosive world that the public is not aware of every day. It does not help anyone get a good nightโ€™s sleep when we are always โ€œthree dominoes away from nuclear war.โ€ Yikes. This got my attention.ย ย

Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, and Richard Gere lead the double identity ensemble through tense moments fraught with major chase scenes and intense torture. The writers know how to get our attention. The acting quality is high in every scene. The problem is the confusing story and how long it takes to understand what is happening. I found myself a little bored even within the intrigue. It felt uneven. Hurry upโ€ฆslowdownโ€ฆI needed more.ย

THE AGENCY is a fascinating look at the undercover world where no one knows a personโ€™s true identity. It gives a bird’ s-eye view of the power one agency or one man has. My hope for this series is to share as much as possible; otherwise, no one will give it a second glance.

It is streaming on Paramount Plus.ย
