STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS was creative and totally unexpected. The episode began quite ordinary, but within minutes, I was laughing and thoroughly intrigued. The story content provided viewers with a plot twist that offered more background information through fun, fabulous visual techniques. It was, quite frankly, too cool for words.
The problem is, I can’t say much more. I don’t want to spoil any of the surprises. I can say that FOUR AND A HALF VULCANS was unforgettable, and I would have loved to watch them film the entire episode. I don’t see how any of the cast members could have kept a straight face. I wish there was a blooper reel!
STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS must have an incredible make-up department to pull off those perfect faces that matched the brilliantly stiff, emotionless acting style. Kudos as well to the amazing choreographer. Don’t miss this one. I know each week, everything is resolved quickly, but what a hoot while it lasts.
