STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS gave fans a huge treat. THOSE OLD SCIENTISTS were hilarious, fun, and campy. It took audiences into the future and back with the animated spin-off, LOWER DECK, and the Enterprise crew. Totally entertaining.
My, people talk very fast in the future. It was hilarious to watch the STAR TREK ensemble try to keep up with what was happening and not destroy or alter the timeline. It was especially a delight to witness the “Ensign” meet his hero. It is always a precarious position to be with the person you admire. People are just people, even if Captain Pike does have amazing hair. Kudos to the writers for creating such a different episode that captured our imaginations and tickled our bones.
STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS was an inventive romp off the beaten trail of the “Golden Age of Exploration.” It offered an opportunity to be a part of history, repeating itself hundreds of years from now. It is available to stream on PARAMOUNT.
