STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS S2 REVIEW 🤩

I boldly go where no reviewer has gone before and give my season two review for STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS second season. #SpoilerAlert – It’s out of this world.

E1 THE BROKEN CIRCLE 🤩 

“STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS started its second season with an exciting, entertaining opener. The entire ensemble is back along with the hilarious, familiar face of Carol Kane as the interim Chief Engineer, Palia. Mayhem is surrounding the USS Enterprise.“

E2 AD ASTRA PER ASPERA 🤩

“STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS gave viewers hope through Star Fleet’s mantra…”To the stars through hardship.” It is what new cadets dream about as they enter the academy, especially if they are “different” in any shape or form. A difficult truth to live up to, even for the Federation.“

E3 TOMORROW AND TOMORROW AND TOMORROW 😊

“TOMORROW AND TOMORROW AND TOMORROW took fans back to the old STAR TREK days. Good times until the end. How in the world can anyone stuff the experiences and memories all away? Perhaps time really does need a “black box.” Oh well, time will tell.“

E4 AMONG THE LOTUS EATERS 😊

“AMONG THE LOTUS EATERS, was not on the same level as previous ones. This is not the fault of the ensemble or the director. The writing was just too muddied and confusing. It was resolved too quickly. I needed more camaraderie from the crew. I loved the closing line. It made me smile for pilots everywhere. STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS just makes me realize what a “Trekkie” I really am.“

E5 CHARADES 🤩

“CHARADE gave its fans a hilarious treat of an episode. It showcased a different side to Christine and Spock’s personal logs and “fascinating” relationship.”

E7 THOSE OLD SCIENTISTS 🤩 

“THOSE OLD SCIENTISTS were hilarious, fun, and campy. It took audiences into the future and back with the animated spin-off, LOWER DECK, and the Enterprise crew. Totally entertaining.“

E8 UNDER THE CLOAK OF WAR 😊

“At times, this episode was a bit vague, confusing, and in the end, hugely surprising. When reminiscing, the pace was lightning-fast. There were so many “incoming transports.” I could not keep up. It felt a little like the old MASH series on speed. It was a nightmare trying to explain “what it was like back there.” Being around a Klingon makes it very difficult to maintain a “Star Fleet face even when ordered to do so.“

E9 SUBSPACE RHAPSODY 🤩

“SUBSPACE RHAPSODY gave fans one of the best all-time episodes ever. It was funny, poignant, dramatic, and a musical in space.”

E10 HEGEMONY 🤩

“STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS planted a true enemy behind a line that kept the thrills coming non-stop. There can’t be a winner in this scenario since both sides have lost too much already. I can’t wait for this series to return. I stand with the Enterprise crew…”Hope  is a choice.”
