SLOW HORSES was simply perfect. The writers provided fans with sarcastic humor, chase scenes, murder, and an intriguing, explosive plot. It was all character-driven and exciting to watch.
At the epicenter is always Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb. He is the boss most of us hope never to have, yet underneath all that curmudgeon surface is a loyal, clever man. He plays it well, spinning everyone in every direction.
This week I also must acknowledge Diana (Kristin Scott). As the head of MI5, she is one cold bitch, and I adore her. Keep pouring that wine, Diana, and we can toast the efficiency of Britain’s security. Perhaps, though, guns drawn was a bit of an overkill.
SLOW HORSES leaves no one behind. Viewers must stay sharp and keep up. Bring it on. I’d follow this group of misfits anywhere.
