SLOW HORSES S3 SEASON REVIEW 🤩

SLOW HORSES’ third season is everything viewers would want in a British spy thriller. You know Cartwright (Jack Lowden) will be running through the streets of London, tons of bullets will be released, Lamb (Gary Oldman) will eat, drink, smoke, fart, and of course, someone will die.

SLOW HORSES is entertaining and at times, very intense. These six episodes kept me on the edge of my seat due to the cliffhangers and huge shoot-outs. It gives new meaning to binging so that audiences can get to what happens next. It is non-stop thoughtful, cat-and-mouse action with fabulous repartee. I was so hooked from the very first moment, and the good news…season 4 is coming. Woohoo!

The ensemble for this show is quirky and flawed. They feel authentic. I love watching actors who aren’t afraid to “go there” expressing every emotional nuance of a scene. The sarcasm hits the spot as well because we all know how this motley group of failed MI5 characters feels about each other. This emotional roller coaster keeps the honest reactions continually flowing. It is simply superbly written and re-enacted.

SLOW HORSES is pure escapism within the spy terrorist genre. It will make you do a double take whenever you pass someone on the street. Are they, or aren’t they? One thing is for sure. We are surrounded every day by threats to our country. Kudos to them for being in the shadows and reflected in the light on SLOW HORSES. It is available on Apple TV+. Don’t miss it.
