SARAH SILVERMAN: POSTMORTEM ๐Ÿ˜Š

SARAH SILVERMAN: POSTMORTEM was not a typical, edgy Silverman comedy special. It was an hour taken from her recent stand-up tour as she passed through New York performing at the beautiful Beacon Theatre. It was a sad, funny, and honest tribute to her mom, stepmom, and dad, who all recently died.ย

Silvermanโ€™s profound, unique way of dealing with death will move audiences from laughing to crying.ย

Most comedians would not touch such a heavy and personal topic. This is what makes Silverman so amazing. She is a consummate comedian with impeccable timing. She knows instinctively how to guide her audience to where she wants them to hit the perfect beat of the joke. This was no exception. She had us in the palm of her hand. I felt like I truly knew her family, and the montage of photos as the credits rolled was a real treat. This show took planning and loving intentions. Audiences could see a bit of their own families and relate to Silvermanโ€™s grief. It was bittersweet, yet very entertaining.ย ย

SARAH SILVERMAN: POSTMORTEM is worthy of your time. It will feel like a shared moment among friends and family. It will be a natural reaction to raise a glass to โ€œSchleppy.โ€

It is streaming on Netflix.ย
