RICK AND MORTY S7 REVIEW 😊

The highs soared, and the lows stooped to number-crunching levels in season seven.

Here’s my breakdown of the latest season of our two favorite sci-fi “heroes.”

E1 HOW POOPY GOT HIS POOP BACK 🤮

“A lot has been said about the recasting of the voice actors on the show since Justin Roiland was kicked off of it. And even his unique voice talents wouldn’t be able to save this “Poopy” episode.”

E2 THE JERRICK TRAP 😊

Whatever your “rake situation” is, I encourage you to “chug” down this episode. It’s a reminder of what RICK AND MORTY can be. Fresh, funny, and full of genre spoofs while not veering too far into gross-out humor.”

E3 AIR FORCE WONG 🤮

You’re better than this. Or at least you used to be so much better than this, RICK AND MORTY.

E4 THAT’S AMORTE 🤩

“If the show continues to do genre-spoofing emotional episodes like THAT’S AMORTE, the series should continue to “Live Forever” in fans’ hearts. Thank you, RICK AND MORTY, for forever ruining spaghetti and my appetite for the next few days.”

E5 UNMORTRICKEN 🤩

“With UNMORTRICKEN, the show easily delivers a top-five episode. Audiences can guess where things are heading from the opening montage, but it’s still shockingly fun. Without spoiling too much, E5 reminded me of the SUCCESSION’s final season midpoint. This could’ve easily been a series finale, and I would’ve 100% been satisfied. Yet, releasing this jaw-dropping episode midseason was “prime, evil.”

E6 RICKFENDING YOUR MORT 😊

“After the jaw-dropping UNMORTRICKEN, RICK AND MORTY returns to normalcy with a clip show in the form of a cosmic beam. While the plot mechanism to create the clip show is clever, there isn’t much here except for some fun action sequences and minor chuckles.

E7 WET KUAT AMORTICAN SUMMER 😊

“Tune in to episode seven and watch the battle of intelligence versus strength as Summer finally learns what the hell a Kuato is.”

E8 RISE OF THE NUMBERICONS THE MOVIE 🤮

“RISE OF THE NUMBERICONS is the worst episode in seven seasons of RICK AND MORTY.

E9 MORT: RAGNARICK 😊

“After the atrocious episode last week, RICK AND MORTY returns to what it does best – action, humor, and gross-out comedy. There’s nothing especially different about E9, but it’s “heaven”-sent compared to anything related to the Numbericons.”

E10 FEAR NO MORT 🤩

“I recommend audiences watch the (w)hole seventh season of R&M. Underneath the gross-out humor, ridiculous violence, and genre spoofs is a show about change, and it’s emotionally up for any challenge you might find in a Denny’s bathroom.”

The seventh season is available on Adult Swim.
