After a mixed bag for RICK AND MORTY last season, creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland do some “A+ rehyping” in the premiere. It has been almost ten years since the original RICK AND MORTY aired and caught cult status. While there have been many ups and downs, there isn’t anything on TV that brings the meta-humor references, all while telling captivating stories.
Even with “some real season two vibes,” SOLARICKS is no exception. When audiences get a good episode of RICK AND MORTY, there’s usually a slew of violent action mixed with some emotional plot from previous seasons that are called back or wrapped up. The season six premiere is a combo of both, all with that hilarious dialogue we’ve grown to love.
My favorite quotes this week are:
- Nobody quits Twitter
- Sorry for the sitcom fight and maybe getting us digested.
- He hates being found but loves building elaborate shit, like playing a ton of MINECRAFT but all on a private server.
It doesn’t matter if you pronounce “parmesan weird” because RICK AND MORTY are back, and they still got it.
It’s available on Adult Swim.
