PRESUMED INNOCENT S1E1-2 ๐Ÿ˜Š

PRESUMED INNOCENT is based on Scott Turowโ€™s intriguing novel of murder and its messy aftermath of trying to solve who did it. David E. Kelley is the creator and co-writer. Both are known for surprising their audiences with emotional upheavals that take their toll on the Sabich family.ย

Jake Gyllenhaal is a consummate actor portraying the lead, Rusty Sabich, who finds himself in deep trouble due to his previous choices and passions. His superb explosiveness is worthy of the audienceโ€™s attention. He can maintain restraint while seething inside. It is brilliant to watch.ย

Ruth Negga plays his wife, Barbara, showcasing powerhouse, quiet moments of pain and frustration. She is not to be underestimated. Bill Camp as Raymond makes the courtroom feel real and honest. The entire ensemble seems authentic to a heinous murder plot.ย

I have always been a fan of Scott Turowโ€™s books and read this intense story years ago. I am excited to see if there are any differences. I thoroughly enjoy watching the written word come to life on screen. Only two episodes have premiered, and I am so hooked. PRESUMED INNOCENT is fun, compelling summer, drama viewing, that is if you like your murder mysteries grisly, horrific, and filled with courtroom scenes. It is streaming on AppleTV+.ย
