PHYSICAL was a “Wake Up” moment for San Diego. Sheila (Rose Byrne) finally shared her truth bomb on national television. It was a huge explosion that had not yet settled in the Kelly/Greta corner.
I was so proud of Sheila. It has taken a long time for her to stop the lies. Well-said words. Kudos to the writers and to Rose for her authenticity. The series had to come to a head with all the BS. And speaking of BS, John (Paul Sparks) got hit with one himself. I can’t wait to hear what excuse his wife will fabricate.
PHYSICAL is a rich, dark comedy featuring the fitness craze of the 80’s. This third season has been tighter and more entertaining for all its characters. At this point, I am not sure who will fall off the cliff first. What fun! It is available to stream on Apple TV+.
