OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH ended its second season, wrapping up all kinds of loose ends. Fun surprises were hidden everywhere.
A pirate’s journey is interesting to be sure, but hey, after all things are said and done, “life’s a dick” in most situations. But hey, “it’s not suicide unless we die.” The writers really nailed the definition of the pirate community. “It’s bad belonging to something when the world has told you you are nothing.” Now, that is the crux of all the episodes. Whew…I genuinely understand the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney much better now.
OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH had some whacky, hilarious rom/com moments along the beach shore. The ensemble is multi-talented in their comedic timing and facial expressions. They don’t miss a beat…” Ba boom boom.”
OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH is coming back for a final third season. This is good news. Who knows what kind of trouble and adventures Blackbeard, Pirate Bonnet, and the Pirate Queen can find?
