NCIS: TONY & ZIVA is a breathless spy-chasing thriller that will leave audiences continually wondering who the bad guy is. It is cleverly written, full of huge plot holes, and sprinkled with tons of fast-talking agents on both sides. The humor has a distinctly British flavor with a European flair. It should not be taken too seriously; yet, the constant threat of capture or explosion is a huge motivator that propels the story forward at a brisk pace.
Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote De Palma) have immense chemistry together. They remind me of many other fabulous duos from past TV series who have captivated viewers with their push-and-pull energy. Tony and Ziva simply simmer below the surface. It is delightful to watch. They share a fantastic history that I will not divulge. It is more fun to discover it while watching, but I will offer one word: hot. They also possess incredible combat skills that will keep fans entertained and wanting more.
The entire ensemble of characters is quite zany and savvy. Car chases, snipers, tech gadgets, great clothes, and a wedding were just the warm-up. The series has six more episodes to premiere, and I can’t wait to travel to another fabulous location with NCIS TONY & ZIVA.
