MYTHIC QUEST took fans out of the “Playpen” and into a mysterious gothic mansion on an island. It was clever, creative, funny, and still moved the story forward with twists and surprises. Way to go, writers!
The entire ensemble was dressed to kill – especially since it was a murder-mystery-party. Audiences were able to play along and guess who was the dastardly villain while being entertained munching on pigs in a blanket, sipping red wine, and watching a delightful display of overkill. It was a hoot, especially those Cary Grant piano moments, and Poppy’s final facial expression. I could not stop my gleeful giggling.
MYTHIC QUEST is still quirky as hell, but now the writers are peeling back more and more unexpected layers. It all makes me want to become a coder so I can be a part of their gaming world. Don’t miss this episode.
