MURDERBOT aired two episodes this week. Both were sarcastic, fun, surprising, and “premium quality shit.” The writers are taking audiences on a fantasy trip that I am not sure will have any real payoff, but I doubt anyone will care in the end. This sci-fi adventure is silly and filled with bumbling astronauts. It is not to be taken seriously.
The Sec Unit is a hoot expressing thoughts of free expression. The timing among the entire group is perfect, even during those “genitalia” references. It’s almost as if they can hear the audience’s laughter in their heads. It’s just that good. It makes it impossible to write about without giving away spoilers, and that I won’t do.
MURDERBOT is easy to watch television. It is entertaining and action-packed, especially if you are into bots and all the chaos they can cause.
