MURDERBOT produced a snarky, sarcastic filler episode this week. It is humorous listening to the way MURDERBOT (Alexander Skarsgard) processes information, thoughts, questionable feelings, and requests. He is one “woke” android to be sure.
The series is based on the popular books, ALL SYSTEMS RED by Martha Wells. Since I have not read these stories, my review is based solely on what is presented visually. I have read, however, that fans are not pleased with the comparison between the two media. Rumor has it that the written word is better, which is usually the case. The problem is that the TV series is just getting started. The episodes are short and fast-paced. I am slightly hooked as to what could happen in the future. There are endless possibilities, so I am being patient for the moment.
MURDERBOT ended with an intriguing cliffhanger. Let’s hope the sci-fi action takes off with some fascinating story content. It’s time to stop hitting the snooze button.
