MASTERS OF THE AIR S1E3 🤩

MASTERS OF THE AIR shared an exciting and intense look at one of the largest air armada missions the “Mighty 8th” had ever attempted. I was so attuned to their deadly and dangerous flying, I didn’t even realize the episode ended when the credits appeared on screen.

This series is a master class of how to produce a brilliant, necessary story about the brave men who conquered the skies. Kudos to Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. The CGI and special effects make viewers feel like they are right in the cockpit just trying to survive and “do their job.” This dramatic reenactment is compelling and very sad. It is not easy listening to their screams and cries for help when their planes are hurling downward to their inevitable deaths.

MASTERS OF THE AIR was even patient enough to highlight how much the English fog played a role in the success of their missions. The tension and nervous laughter were palatable. The entire ensemble was believable as they “lived” in that pocket of time. Well done.

MASTERS OF THE AIR is storytelling at its finest. Even though most don’t want to remember the horrific perils of fighting in a war. It is streaming on AppleTV+.
