MALICE S1 REVIEW ๐Ÿ˜Šย

MALICE surprised me. I thought I would hate it as much as Rotten Tomatoes did, but I was wrong. As far as a dramatic thriller went, it was okay. Now, dear readers, you get to decide if you want to spend your time watching six just okay episodes. I canโ€™t honestly say I didnโ€™t regret it as much as when I watched an inane sci-fi movie this morning, which shall remain nameless.ย

David Duchovny and Jack Whitehall were in charge of making sure audiences suspended their disbelief enough to get through this revenge-bent script. It had its spine-tingling moments, but they were too few and far between. I blame the writers and the editing. There could have been tighter and more polished scenes overall. Duchovny relied on his crabby personality, while Whitehall would stare out into the camera with an intense, faraway look. The dog Frankie was terrific, though.ย

MALICEโ€™s rating for me was just a millimeter over the 50% mark. This gave the TV series its edge, not to be awarded a vomit emoji. The remote control is now in your hands.

It is streaming on Prime Video.ย
