LOOT was funny and fascinating this week. I was not going to write a weekly review on this dark comedy, but I could not resist because of the content and character intentions.
The best parts about VENGEANCE FALLS were the scenes with Molly (Maya Rudolph) and Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster). Whether they were rehearsing for a play, looking for a noisy fire alarm, panic room rescuing, or dealing with visiting parents, they were a delight and a hoot. The writers nailed their times together and brought it all full circle with empathy, friendship, and love.
LOOT was a “clear shot” all the way to their final destination. Well done. It is streaming on Apple TV+.
