LOOT is going nowhere very quickly. I adore Maya Rudolph, but as Molly, she seems stilted and holding back. Obviously, being a billionaire does not make you that interesting or compelling.Â
There really is not much to comment on about this episode since it did not move the plot forward. It did give us insight into some of the ensemble’s back stories, but it all just was not enough. LOOT was a sweet, slow-paced 30 minutes except for the first crazy opening scene and some “hot” alpacas.
Do we need to slow down a series this quickly? I know and understand the story. There aren’t enough surprises or moments to keep me connected. Should I keep watching? We will see. Come on, Maya! Give us the laugh-out-loud laughs we all need to care about what happens to Molly.Â
