The writers kept audiences off kilter by continually taking us into the future. I definitely fell for their “Mad” surprise. “Maternal and fuckable” is not always the answer.
Elizabeth’s neighbor, Harriet (Aja Naomi King), is one powerhouse of a woman. I would want her on my side any day of the week. And the two of them together make for some intense and entertaining dialogues. Great empathic acting moments.
LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY is taking us into Elizabeth’s unexpected career choice. Even though this episode was a filler, I can’t wait to see what she “cooks” up in her kitchen lab next.
