JO KOY: BLUE IN THE FACE is a hilarious comedy special that was filmed during his recent tour. His stories have heart and empathy. His punchlines hit their mark each and every time. I couldn’t stop laughing at his energetic, authentic stand-up schtick. His act is refreshing because there is not one political joke shared during his sixty minutes in the spotlight. Bravo.

Koy has a unique style. He loves to sometimes giggle at his own jokes, but it is endearing simply because he is a funny dude. His perspective on his youth, former jobs, teeth, dogs, and family is priceless. He is loud at times and sputters the occasional cuss word, but it doesn’t matter. This is because his material is great and honestly delivered. I never expected to enjoy myself as much as I did.
