HACKS…WOW. All the twists and turns that have been guiding audiences through intersected in perfect unison. A SLIPPERY SLOPE left me with a jaw dropped in disbelief as I cried out to the universe, “Why can’t real life imitate television when necessary?” I want more chutzpah spread throughout the entertainment industry. Then I dropped back on my couch in disbelief and celebration of all the possible stories to come.
I refuse to give anything away. Viewers need to go in with blinders on and enjoy the ride. I must deliver a shoutout to Jimmy (Paul W. Downs) and Kayla (Megan Stalter). Their subplot hit the spot as well. This episode showcases why HACKS is number one in our hearts. Deborah (Jean Smart)…you rock!
HACKS is comedic creativity at its finest. The finale is next week. I so hope the momentum stays at this level. I am in “gorilla mode” searching for that “bottom line.”
HACKS is streaming on Max.
