HACKS exceeded my expectations this season. It ended with a BULLETPROOF cliffhanger and a powerful punch. I stand among Deborah’s huge fan base and await her return to late night.
E1-2
“HACKS started its third season off by premiering two wonderful episodes filled with delightful, humorous banter between Deborah (Jean Smart) and Ava (Hannah Einbinder.) It felt like welcoming old friends back into my inner circle.”
E3-4
“HACKS is fun and entertaining. Viewers might want to hate Deborah for her narcissistic behaviors, but just can’t help loving her as well. She can plow through obstacles to get to the heart of any problem on the table. This is Deborah’s superpower, and I thoroughly enjoy watching her succeed. HACKS is on a roll. I hope it doesn’t stop.”
E5-6
“Deborah has taught me many fabulous lessons this week as well. I now know the proper way to use a straw, how to keep “my lines” smooth, and “don’t redo…refresh.” She is an older woman’s guru. How did I get to be my age without her wise advice? I still can’t stop laughing.”
E9 BULLETPROOF
“HACKS has been building up to this final episode of the season. All roads lead to Deborah (Jean Smart) and her long-awaited late-night show. Ava (Hannah Einbinder) has learned well from the master negotiator. The two of them going head to toe is humorously rich with sarcasm and one-liners. The priceless, funny beats just went on and on.”
