GRACE AND FRANKIE gave their fans a “special gift” of four episodes from their final season. Twelve more will be available in 2022 to make this humorous, beloved comedy the longest-running sitcom on Netflix.
The casting for this show is sublime with Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen, Sam Waterson, June Diane Raphael, Brooklyn Decker, Baron Vaughn, Ethan Embry, and the amazing Peter Gallagher. The timing and tone are always spot-on.
GRACE AND FRANKIE’S premise is simple. Two couples are best friends for years. Then the wives find out their husbands are gay and in love with each other. So many avenues to explore and discover that lead to finding friendships with funny, comedic stories. The strength of this zany series has always been the journeys of the two women, GRACE AND FRANKIE. What a delight to watch their growth and zest for life, even if you are 80+ years.
It will be sad to see the end next year, but I am savoring these last moments. I am excited to watch those final episodes. It has been worth every minute to be a fan of GRACE AND FRANKIE, which is available to stream on Netflix.
