GEN V S1E8 GUARDIANS OF THE GODOLKIN 😊

“Into the woods” we go for the season finale of GEN V. The spinoff that could have soared to the heights of Homelander flying through the air, but instead, simply hovered close to the ground.

The finale was jam-packed with the violent action we’ve come to love in this series and THE BOYS. Yet, one can only help but notice how weak the Polarity father/son plot was, and the primary motivation for Cate (Maddie Phillips) needed to be more believable.

I texted a friend about the series, and his few words sum it up. “It’s… fine.” GEN V isn’t a lost cause. However, I want more from my shocking superhero stories. Especially with INVINCIBLE back, there’s only so much room in my viewing schedule for must-see violent content.

It’s available on Prime Video.
